This is an ever trending topic in Nigeria and it doesn’t seem to be coming to an end anytime soon as both Davido & Wizkid are considered “Kings in their lane”.

The ‘war’ between Davido and Wizkid would probably last till the end of their careers. The competition between both acts has divided the pop music base in Nigeria with half repping Omo Baba Olowo, and the other half holding it down for Wizzy.

constant argument amidst fans about who is better has
sparked a lot of controversies ,Blogs,threads and forums.

1. Wizkid Has More Hits Than Davido

Davido and Wizkid are both extremely talented and gifted in the art of Music making. However, kudos must be given to Wizkid for writing his own songs, Davido is practically enjoying others people Shine and always in on song theft controversy or another ..we all know Wizkid’s Debut Album “Superstar” cannot be compared to Davido’s OBO album in terms of good music, sales, acceptance and awards.

This is not even up for dispute. Wizkid is perhaps Nigeria’s most prolific hitmaker. From his debut album, to the EME compilation album to his new projects, Wizkid has racked more hits that will last some artist’s entire career. Let’s not forget the songs he dropped in between albums such as ‘BABA NLA’ & So many more. Hit for hit, Wizkid is leading this race with a huge gap.

Till date, Nobody has accused Wizkid of stealing their
songs, from Azonto to On top ur Matter, Bombay ,One
Question, Baba Nla e.t.c ,everything is purely Wizkid’s hard working mind that writes and supplies us good and not stolen Music.

2. Wizkid Has Better Taste In Women

Right from the get go before he became a superstar, Wizkid has shown that his taste in women is high. Look at his babe in ‘Holla At Ur Boy’ video to his current on/and off bae. AddTonto Dikeh, Victoria Kimani, Seyi Shay to his rumoured list of flings, and you see that he doesn’t do random babes. Even his baby mama is good looking. We can’t say this about Davido. The two times he has been caught with his pants down, its been with chicks who aren’t great in the looks department.

3. International “Connect”

Drake & Chris Brown is his buddies, One Dance & Shabba/African Bad Girl can testify to that. The collaboration with Drake made Wizkid theFIRST AFRICAN to make the Number 1 Spot on Billboard. Rihanna (reportedly) likes his music.

He shares the same management with Tinie Tempah. He has done songs with Akon, and Tyga & so many more. Sigh, I’ll stop there.

It’s pretty much obvious that he is a huge music export. He is known by foreign celebs, and he even parties with them. Davido doesn’t have the same international recognition Wizkid has. And oh, he’s taken a selfie with Justin Bieber.

4. Wizkid Is A Better Dresser 

Take a look at Wizkid’s Instagram and you can see that Wizzy takes dressing seriously. He doesn’t just rock brands, he knows how to co-ordinate them. Davido on the other hand just buys the expensive gear, but they don’t reflect a high taste in fashion and style. Wizkid can just wear a white T and a pair of blue jeans and still outshine a Davido dripping in Versace.

He even kills it too when it comes to traditional wears.

5. Wizkid Writes His Own Songs

Wizkid is the brain and author behind all his songs. This is an added benefit for the star. Davido is known to buy songs off artists.

Most People accuse Wizkid of being Pompous. Yes he might be, but Davido is certainly more pompous than Wizzy. He labelled himself OBO ,sings abt his fathers wealth all the time, beat up a taxi driver,fought an immigration officer and went bananas when his name was not included in The Forbes top ten richest artistes in Nigeria. Yes wizkid is human,calling a fan broke may be harsh but we know some Nigerians can say silly things at times. How many Times ,Davido don throw money for Crowd before? Eh? And he like him fans Abi?? Smh ?

No Stress about this one, we all know Wizkid has a better voice than Davido

9. Fan Base & Popularity

Believe it or not Wizkid is the most internationally recognized artist in Nigeria and yeah his song with Drake & Kyla is presently on billboards hot 100, so what else , Wizkid has a total of 2.3million+ followers on twitter & Over 1.8million followers on Instagram, Davido on the other hand has a total of 1.8million followers on twitter and 1.4million followers on instagram. So yes! Wizkid is more popular that Davido.
