Aide Commends Gov Bello On Economic Strides

Economic Development, Asiru Idris has hailed
Governor Yahaya Bello for his development strides
in Okunland, urging his people to always support
government programmes and policies to keep
attracting dividends of democracy to the area. The Commissioner, who made the call in Isanlu
during this year’s Isanlu Day celebration, assured
the people of government’s infrastructure
development in the local government. Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State Asiru hinted at government’s plan to give the town
a new look, saying “we thank the Governor for
awarding the Ijowa-Ejuku-Ife Olukotun-Iyamoye
Road contract and his determination to fund the
project to completion.” Also, the governor’s wife, Hajia Rashida Bello, used
the occasion to grant financial incentives for
business development to 50 women. She was
represented at the occasion by her Senior Special
Assistant on Media, Mrs Olamide Adesoro. On his part, the governor, who was represented
by his Director General on Media and Strategy,
Kingsley Fanwo, thanked the people of Isanlu for
their support, saying he will continue to strive for
the development of the state.
