She was on her way to start training at the Key store in Suburban Plaza in Henrietta Wednesday when she crashed into a pillar on Route 74 in Gates. "She was a happy, fun-loving girl," Mrs. Barone said. "She was an excellent water skier and loved arts and crafts." . Miss DiPilato is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank DiPilato, and a brother, Nicholas DiPilato. Leda DiPilato, a trainee technician for Key Drug Co. stores who wanted to become a model, died Thursday in Strong Memorial Hospital of injuries suffered in a car crash Wednesday. She was 18. Miss DiPilato of 46 North Hollow Road, Greece, had been encouraged by Frank Grillo, a local photographer, to model. Miss DiPilato did model for Grillo last week, said her aunt, Mrs. Rosemary, Barone. Mrs. Barone said Miss DiPilato' was scheduled to model for a Bridal shop in Greece. Mr. Butler was born in Rochester. He quit school in the seventh grade to become a ' part-time Western Union messenger boy. He began his newspaper career at 15 as a copy boy for the old Union and Advertiser, which was later merged into The Times-Union. After his retirement in 1955, Mr. Butler and his wife, Gertrude, went to Loretto, Pa. where he worked for the Franciscan Mission Houses. He did promotion work for two years for the mission, his daughter, Mrs. Jessie Ann Mott, said. After his work there, he and his wife traveled, Mrs. Mott said. Sister Alfonsa Welch, a teacher in the Rochester Roman Catholic Diocese more than 40 years, died yesterday in the St. Joseph's Convent on East Avenue, after a long illness. Sister ' Alfonsa entered the 'St. Joseph's sisterhood in 1903 from St. Mary's Parish in Auburn. She attended the Brock-port Normal School and gained her teaching license there in 1906. She later earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in education from Canisius College, Buffalo. She taught at Nazareth Hall, Dewey Avenue, from 1907 to 1933.
