Obey, Oyedepo, Tunde Ayeni, Others Honoured

Nigeria modest fashion designer and
CEO of Kenny Jones Designs, Mr Kehinde
Olayiwola recently in Lagos marked the
25 years’ existence of his fashion line. At
the event which coincided with his
birthday, the award-winning designer
awarded some members of his staffs as
well as individuals who had impacted
his life one way or the other since the
establishment of his fashion outfit.

The designer who started his company
in 1992, dedicated the event to the glory
of God who he claimed directed those
receiving awards towards him. In his
words “I can’t but be thankful, I
remember there was a time I could not
afford to buy a sewing machine, but
today God has changed my story”.
Kenny Jones Design has for years been
the personal designer of juju music
legend Ebenezer Obey who also received
an award, others that received award
for their impact include; Bishop David
Oyedepo, Pastor J.T. Kalejaiye, Hon. Dr
Samuel Adejare (Lagos State
Commissioner for Environment),
Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola
(Yayi), Reverend Sola Rotimi who flew in
from his USA base for the event.
